Marriage Certified - Eliza Phillips, widow of James Madison Phillips (Civil War Veteran)

I do hereby certify that I maried [SIC - misspelled married] Mr. J. M. Philips [surname misspelled] to Miss Eliza Helms on the 14 day of October 1868 at the house of Levi L. Dunlops - Franklin County, Mo. A. D. Clark, J.P.

Filed and recorded January 12th, A.D. 1868. State of Missouri, County of Franklin. I Leslie E Wood Recorder of Deeds within and for the County and State aforesaid do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true full and correct copy of the certificate of marriage of J. M. Philips and Eliza Helms, together with the date of filing and recording thereof as fully as the same appear of record in my office in Record "C" of Marriages on page 147. In testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and official seal at office in Union Missouri this 27th day of June A.D 1884. Leslie E. Wood - Recorder of Deeds - Franklin Co., Mo.
