Edith was born Nov. 22, 1930 in Germania, Marquette Co., WI. She died at the age of 20 (Nov. 29, 1950) of a brain hemorrhage. She graduated from Montello High School and the Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Edith was a third grade teacher at Colby, Wis. She never married and had no children. She is buried in the East Side Cemetery at Westfield, Wisconsin. Her parents were Fred Phillips and Evaline (Tagatz) Phillips.
