Unknown 1910 and 1920 census records say that Henriette was born in Germany [which could well be Prussia]. Her ages are inconsistent between these two records.

Assuming Karl Krüger was married to the mother of his daughter Bertha, Karl's wife would have been Henrietta Mietz (or Meietz - the surname was hard to read in the record). [SOURCE: Their daughter's marriage was on Mar. 4, 1897, Marquette Co., WI, Vol. 3, p. 93]

It's possible that this 1900 Federal Census record (in Marquette, Green Lake Co., WI) applies to Karl, but not proven. Note that the name Hattie is often a nickname for Henrietta. However, the name Carl Kruger is not an uncommon name for his time. If this census record applies, his daughter Bertha would therefore have been born when she was about 42 years old. The year of immigration in this record does not match Henrietta's immigration year in the 1920 census.
