[I couldn't decipher this well enough to know if this is a birth or a christening record.] Location given was Zachasberg. It was a Kolmar, Posen, Prussia record. Gottfried Taggatz was a sponsor/witness for Friedrich Wilhelm Block in Zachasberg, Kolmar, Posen, Prussia. [This is most likely not the same as Fred Block who is my ancestor whose christening record I did find.] This record appears to be a christening record in Jan. 1823. Father: Johan Daniel and Ana Dorothea Stetter [could this be Stelter?]; the names Johan and Ana had lines over the letter n. Another witness on this record was Ana Dorothea Wesner [line over letter n in Ana]. [LDS Film No. 807992 - Evangelische Kirche Kolmar record]

Johann Samuel Taggatz A Jan. or Feb. 1824 record [birth/christening? - I couldn't decipher the German] shows Johann Samuel Taggatz's parents were Johann Taggatz and Ana Rosina Rach [a line over the n in Ana]. Location mentioned in record was Raderwunke. It was a Kolmar, Posen, Prussia record. Johann Samuel Taggatz is the same name of my ancestor Martin Tagatz's first known child.
